Thank you for supporting the DSHS performing arts programs.
Your contributions to FOPA help keep the arts at D/S vibrant and strong!

FOPA sponsors:

  • Annual scholarships for graduating seniors
    Last year eleven scholarships were awarded to well deserving seniors as selected by the performing arts faculty

  • Grants for workshops, equipment and material requests for the performing arts
    Last year FOPA funded a new recording iMac laptop computer for our music students to use for their recordings

    Last year, FOPA also spearheaded the fundraising for new body microphones; through a collaborative effort with POSITIVE, DSEF, PTO, a private donor, a grant and a $10,000 donation from the Mudge Fund we raised over $20,000 towards new body microphones and support systems

    Past gifts have included band instruments, rear screen projection equipment for theater productions, storage containers for theater costumes, display cases, a cappella workshops, and contributions toward a new concert piano for Mudge Auditorium

  • Concert Breakfasts, the Drama Banquet, and other spirit building events throughout the year to support the performing arts students

  • Complimentary tickets for our plays to the Dover and Sherborn Councils on Aging

  • The production of and printing of the Concert Programs and Theater Playbills

  • Production support for all drama productions and concert events, including publicity, advertising, tickets, set construction, make-up and concessions
